Welcome!

     I’m Violet, a Jewish, Detroit-based, Artist. Currently, I am going to school at CCS for animation and art education. My inspirations tend to come from things that inspire me in life and don't always take the same medium to manifest. 

      I've been known to dabble in many arts from stained glass to sewing, gravestones to ballet.  Growing up my Bubbie encouraged me to try new crafts weekly and we made things by hand 4th graders thought grew that way on trees. 

     After high school, I lived in Chicago for a semester with my Aunt, Uncle, and our cat, Smegal. It was my first time not living with dogs and my first time working in a bakery. When I moved home to Detroit I decided I wanted to live in Chicago again someday. 

     I love working with dance and getting to learn choreography. I also love non-verbal dialogue through ballet mime, sign, subtle body cues, and so on.
