Comedy is a coping mechanism for my constant social anxiety. I love comedy so deeply in so many ways, it can bring people together and make them feel safe. I believe in using your voice to try and say something, doing open mics with jokes I believe in and trying to fine tune a performance until the script is as tight and intentional as I can get it reminds me of dance practice. I found a love for writing after freeing myself of essay standards, even my essays improved.
