Directing this project was fun, my personal highlight was the way I got to combine my dance notes and animation notes. I had worked with each of the people on this team at some point beforehand so I felt confident in what we could do with the given time. I tried to treat the project like a collage, blending everyone's styles.

 

I may have had fun working on backgrounds, directing and giving notes, but my favorite part was animating my own shots. Dance is one of those things that feels so clear to me, there's story and character in every move. Timing out a dance in the studio and randomly standing to feel out the movement is a covetable experience.
